No WIFI - ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI

I've been using my new PC on ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI for about two and half months and everything was going fine. Suddenly after reboot wi-fi disapeard, I can't connect to my router via wi-fi, it seems that mobo doesn't have wi-fi adapter. It happen on both Windows 11 and Linux (Pop_OS).

My spec:

  • MB ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI
  • Ryzen 7 7800X3D
  • Gygabite GeForce RTX 2070 Super
  • Kingston KF564C32RSK2-32
  • Dualboot: Win11 and Linux (Pop_OS)

What i have checked and tried:

  • router is working fine, other devices can connect including different phones, iPad, Macbook, laptop on Windows11, Samsung TV etc;
  • there is no wi-fi device in the list of Devices Manager in Settings in Win11, like mobo doesn't have wifi adapter;
  • I did not change anything in my hardware or software set before it happened, just reboot my PC
  • I update BIOS to the last one BIOS 3024, but still no wi-fi;
  • I have reset network settings to the default values on Win11 via Settings -> Network&Internet -> Advance network settings -> network reset but still no result
  • wifi in BIOS settings is enable

So could you suggest anything or may be someone have faced with this kind of issue? What i can find here is only LAN issue but it is not my case.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @NikitaKh

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please confirm if your current BIOS version is the latest 3024 and whether you have tried clearing CMOS?

Based on your description, it seems you did not perform any software or hardware changes, such as a Windows update or reconnecting the Wi-Fi antenna, before this issue occurred.
And since the Wi-Fi adapter is not detected in Device Manager, may I ask if you have tried reinstalling the MediaTek WiFi Driver from the ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI support site?

As the ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI supports Windows OS, we recommend installing only the Windows system drive temporarily, removing any other system drives, and referring to the guideline in [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - How to fix Motherboard WI-FI connect problem.
Please also refer to page 2-20 of the user manual to ensure the Wi-Fi antenna is connected correctly and that there are no sources of Wi-Fi interference in the installation environment.
Kindly consider resetting the system while keeping your files, if needed.

Thank you.

As the local holiday is ongoing, there may be further delays in responses.
We appreciate your patience in advance.
