No Lan adapter - Asus Rog Strix B650-A gaming wifi

After 7 monts of no problems, i turned on the pc and no lan connection was working. I did all the regular checks with the cables and router and then tried to re install the drivers from the asus official website but the problem persisted. I then tried installing the wifi drivers and they worked, but the lan adapter just disappeared from the avalaible devices. If i turn off wifi no lan conection is showed and no adapter pop up in the device list. If i try installing lan drivers the sotuation does not change. I also tried installing the general pack drivers from the Intel website but it says that there is no lan adapter detected on the computer. Im starting to think that itnis an hardware problem and the lan adapter just randomly broke.... and also, just after warranty end... anyone has a suggestion on what the problem could be? This build is just 7 months old...

Also, before i tried installing the wifi drivers, that was the last time the lan adapter was showing in the device list but it had an error 28 showing. Installing lan drivers would not fix the problem and so i tried with the wifi drivers and from that moment i was not able to see the lan adapter in the device list anymore

Hello @Ratsinger

Thank you for reaching out to us.
May we ask if there have been any hardware or software changes recently before the LAN issue occurred, such as updating the BIOS, OS version, or installing a new network card? When the LAN connection fails and the network card is not recognized in Device Manager, what is the status of the LED indicator on the LAN port?

We recommend referring to the steps in [Motherboard] How to fix the cable network problems of Motherboard – Troubleshooting.
Please also ensure that the BIOS and LAN drivers are all updated to the latest versions on the ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI support page. After clearing the CMOS and confirming that the Intel LAN Controller is enabled, check again to see if the network card is recognized in Device Manager.

Thank you.
