Hi.
I'm running to my wits end trying to figure this out! I have no audio with my Asus crosshairs x870e motherboard. I uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers multiple times and still do not get any audio. Hello @ryuk14
Thank you for reaching out to us, and sorry for any inconvenience caused by the delayed response.
Could you please kindly clarify whether the motherboard currently in use is the ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO or APEX? Did this issue occurred after the PC was first built or after using it for some time and occurred following any recent changes, such as a Windows update or component replacement?
Whether the audio driver was reinstalled manually using the version available on the official support page or via Armoury Crate?
Based on the screenshot you provided, the audio device appears to be recognized in Device Manager. We recommend referring to the steps outlined in [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - Audio with no sound, which include confirming whether the audio controller is enabled in the BIOS setup.
Please also verifying that the correct default audio output device is selected, that the output format in the Windows sound settings is compatible, and that Windows is detecting audio output through the Volume Mixer while sound is being played.
Thank you.
