"Performance Preferences"" with options for Intel Default Settings (Performance/Extreme)

I have the option for the Intel Default Settings but i don't get any way or option to chosose between Performance & Extreme. Do you have the same issue or is it cpu bound and the 13700k does not have an option?

Hi @bansh,
What options appear when you open Performance Preferences?

9800X3D / 6400 CAS 28 / ROG X870 Crosshair / ROG Astral 5090 OC

Hi @Silent_Scone ,

just "Intel Default Settings" and another "ASUS Advanced OC Settings" option which sets most of the options to the old "Auto" Value where voltage goes out of conrol 🙂

Based on this article https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1053456/ there should be an option beyond which is called "Intel Default Settings" where should be able to choose.

You can see you've selected it in the screenshot, not sure why you're confused?  Also the voltage doesn't go "out of control". The profiles alter power limits, Intel governs the VID behaviour.

I have selected "Intel Default Settings"  correct. But i can't choose between the Performance or Extreme option. As the article shows there is field below which lets you choose between Performance or Extreme.

I only have "AI Overclock Tuner". Check the article and then check my screenshot. The BIOS menu is different.
The correct order by following the article should be:

-> Performance Preferences -> "Intel Default Settings" and another "ASUS Advanced OC Settings"
-> Intel Default Settings -> Performance / Extreme
-> AI Overclock Tuner

The second option is missing for me. Could i make my question more clear now?

Are you able to take a video? Thanks.

Thanks for confirming

You are not using a 13900k or 14900k or any KF

@Necromancin
As I already told in my first post, i have a 13700K. No clue if this Option appears only for the 1X900K.
Thats the question. The text says that 13700K is also included in those profiles.

Still i can't choose between Performance/Extreme.
