So as the title says, this is a brand new build and i literally saw the onboard screen light up on original boot and thats it.  Everything including BIOS is current and up to date.

Any Ideas??  Would love to have this as its part of the reason i bought this board!~!

Not happy

TIA

Hello @MYKLEDW ,

Could you please specify which model of the X670E series motherboard you are inquiring about, such as if you are encountering the issue of the "Polymo Lighting" on the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO not lighting up or not being customizable, or is the issue occurring with the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E GENE or ROG CROSSHAIR X670E EXTREME?

Have you tried power cycling the system to see if it resolves the issue or attempted to configure the settings in Armoury Crate?
Kindly refer to AniMe Matrix™ Pixel Editor and AniMe Matrix Tutorial if needed.

If the problem persists, please share more detailed information, including the brand and model of your CPU, RAM, GPU, and PSU, as well as versions of BIOS, Armoury Crate, and screenshots of the Update Center.
Meanwhile, since this is a recent purchase, you might also consider contacting your dealer for after-sales support if needed.

Thank you.

Morning @Jiaszzz_ROG

So power cycling has done nothing and armory crate does not even list the area that you pointed out (yes that is the area that is not working).

I have messed with just about every possible setting to set that area but only my Anim matrix keyboard is showing in AC.20240806_083332.jpg20240806_083348.jpg20240806_083358.jpg20240806_083829.jpg

Hello @MYKLEDW

Thank you for providing the relevant information.
Could you please clarify if the Polymo Lighting issue on the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO, where the RGB lights are not functioning, appeared after any specific software or hardware changes following the initial boot without any lighting issues? For example, did the issue start occurring after installing Armoury Crate or Windows update?
In addition to trying to reinstall Armoury Crate and reboot the PC, please refer to steps Q2 and Q3 in [Motherboard] How to use Armoury Crate to set lighting effects and troubleshooting to see if this resolves the problem.
After making these adjustments, we also recommend restarting your system to recheck the issue.
If the issue persists, please let me know, and I will provide further guidance to document and report the problem.

Thank you.

So the lighting only worked the first time the pc was booted.  After the initial boot, bios was updated first then every driver that was needed. AC was run and updated as necessary and windows was reinstalled.

Nothing on the mother board has worked since, and i believe that all rgb MB connectors are also dead.  I have no way of seeing the MB anime matrix as it is not being seen in AC, everything else is.20240806_204330.jpg20240806_204339.jpg

So im guessing there is no solution and my board will not have RGB, which is kinda the reason i went  with this build.  I have seen alot of similar posts on this exact same thing. you would think that for this price of extreme hardware you all would figure out the simple stuff.  This board is not new and there really is no excuse.

ps, i just put the newest bios in and still nothing.  I cant attempt to solve any issues if  the board itself cant see whtat it has.

Really, really disappointed  as this is a complete ROG build, that unfortunately does not live up to the ROG standards.,

Meanwhile, please also try removing via uninstall tool and reinstalling Armoury Crate, and ensure that you check Armoury Crate > Settings > Update Center to confirm that all items on this page have been updated to the latest version.

If the problem persists, please record and provide the relevant logs for us to verify further:
For instructions on logging operation steps, please refer to 'Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)' and ensure that you have confirmed and checked the 'Record Log' option before proceeding with steps to replicate the issue, such as when Armoury Crate cannot detect any motherboard settings and restarting the system does not resolve the problem
And kindly record a video simultaneously and provide it to us, allowing us to better correlate the log with the actual scenario.
After recording the log, please upload it to the cloud, approve access, and PM me the link and I will forward it to the relevant departments for further investigation.
Please help confirm the OS and OS build version as well.

Thank you.
