Motherboard ROG STRIX B650E-F always rainbow RGB on Startup

Dear ASUS-Team,

I'm a fresh owner of the motherboard named in the title. Basically everything is fine except for one very annoying problem:

No matter waht I do and which settings are chosen in ArmoryCrate, on each and every startup the motherboard-RGB shows the rainbow effect and not the clean static color I chose everywhere possible.

Everything is patched to the latest versions but it did not help anything with this problem.

I found this problem for other ASUS motherboards on other forums in the internet and people are complaining about ASUS not fixing this problem - I hope you are aware of this bad publicity axisting on the internet and have a solution at your hand for this problem?

Looking forward to a solution

Hello mightynighty

This is normal operation, once booted into windows, Armoury Crate should switch to your lighting profile.

You mean, every other manufacturer is able to keep the RGB settings throughout reboots but only ASUS is not able to do this? ... sound kind of a joke

By the way: I can select the RGB effect for the shutdown state but not change the rainbow effect during boot sequence!? Don't you think this lmakes your answer look kind of strange Nate152? I cannot beleieve this as true, as you can find people that were able to change it, but strangely only with older software.

Hello @mightynighty

Kindly refer to the responses in the related topic: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F color LEDs at power on before OS boots

At present, when booting on, it can only maintain the default lighting effect, which is the rainbow effect.

After consulting with the relevant personnel again, the same confirmation was received.
During the boot process, the RGB lighting will remain on the default rainbow effect.

Thank you.

As the local holiday is ongoing, there may be further delays in responses.
We appreciate your patience in advance.
