Trying to decide on an ATX option for my build as the first board I ordered had some issue in shipping from Amazon and never arrived.

I probably will never overclock the CPU (12700kf), but might add more RAM down the road and almost for sure will add 1-2 more SSD m.2 drives.
The Strix had 1 extra fan header which I like, I did read somewhere with 4 RAM installed the Maximus no longer supported XMP, not sure if that is addressed in bios updates.
Probably both motherboard exceed what I am doing but I've been very happy with my previous build going with a higher end Asus 7 years ago, it's been stable and cool which is what I want overall.
