Memory running at 2400MHz (3200MHz modules)

Hi,

I have ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS MB (latest BIOS) and Kingston 16GB (2 x 8GB) HyperX Fury, DDR4 3200MHz, CL16, 1. Problem is that BIOS shows the memory runs at 2400MHz.

I have enabled D.O.C.P. and the values are 3200MHz and 1.35V.

It still shows 2400MHz. Any suggestions?

If DOCP is enabled, memory will be set to 3200MHz automatically, it should be working then.

Check with CPU-Z in Windows, it should show 1600MHz (you multiply that by two) to reach the 3200MHz.

I have a similar motherboard (B550-F gaming), with 4 sticks of 8GB CL-14 and DOCP is working fine here at 3200MHz.

Hi,

So I enabled Asus Performance Enhancement from the BIOS under DRAM.

CPU-Z shows right specs: NB Frequency: 1600MHz (DDR4-3200)

However Ai Suite 3 shows: Max bandwith: 1200MHz

I tried these:

  • CPU-Z: Ok
  • Command Prompt: Ok
  • Task manager: Ok
  • BIOS: Ok
  • Ai Suite 3: Invalid

I guess I can put my mind at ease.

Br, J

Never used the option Asus Performance Enhancement.

All I do is to enable DOCP and undervolt by PBO2.. My 5800x3d runs stable with 30mV negative curve for all cores, which decreases the temps and allow higher clocks.
