Seems like mine and others issues with the board just stopping working are related with thermal and current protections. I feel 12th gen is affected as well.

May I ask if the motherboard currently being discussed is the same as the one mentioned in another thread, the ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI? What is the current installed CPU?
Have you performed any CPU or other overclocking settings or encountered any specific abnormalities, such as blue screens?
If necessary, please consider updating to the ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI BIOS 2202 released on April 19, 2024.
The update introduces the Intel Baseline Profile option, allowing users to revert to Intel factory default settings for basic functionality, lower power limits, and improving stability in certain games.
