Is it safe to connect 6x0.17 A to CHA_Fan2 on my Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore

I've got 6xArctic P14 PWM PST A-RGB connected PST (one-in-another) to my CHA_FAN 2 header rated 1A. So, my fans draw 0.17 A each.
Is it safe to connect 6 fans summary 1.02A to 1A header?

Hello @Vasily_Nagornyk

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Based on your description, if the six fans require a total of 1.02A, we recommend connecting them across two CHA_FAN headers to ensure sufficient power supply.

Thank you.

Well, I did that. It was bad news when I figured out that my mobo has only 2 CHA_FAN headers. Why ASUS made 2xFS_FANs on that premium motherboard? Thats real trash headers cause you cant control fan curve of them.

Hi @Vasily_Nagornyk

In fairness, the Apex isn't strictly geared towards even being in a chassis, hence why there's two FS headers. You can use splitters, or there's no reason you can't repurpose one of the other headers.

Ho thank you Captain Obvious. Then pls explain, why do I need 2 uncontrolled fullspeed headers on top motherboard?

It's not that obvious if you need to ask. The Apex is geared towards extreme OC. The headers can be used to remove vapour quickly and do not need manual adjustment, for instance directly after clearing the UEFI. In other words, they're there for quality of life for the users the board is aimed at.
