Is default CPU core voltage too high? 7600x on ASUS B650-PLUS WIFI

ScoopGP

I build two identical systems for my daughters.

Both contain:

• AMD Ryzen 5 7600x Cpu
• ASUS B650-PLUS WIFI
• G.SKILL Ripjaws S5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB)
• Noctua NH-U12S Coolers
• Both PCs have different GPUS (but removing them didn't change voltages)

With both systems set to default bios settings, PC1 has a CPU core voltage of 1.4+ volts, while PC2 has a CPU core voltage of 1.2+ volts. Isn't 1.47 volts way too high?

Things I have tried:

• Both motherboards on latest stable BIOS of 3067.
• Swapping RAM between the two computers
• Repasting PC1
• Clearing CMOS on both PCs multiple times
• Removing discrete GPUs

I was hoping someone could give me some guidance on anything I should do here.

Thanks very much.

Hi @ScoopGP The systems might be identical but the CPU VID isn't. Voltage seems normal.
