Installed new motherboard x870e-e and it cannot connect to the internet

I just upgraded motherboard and cpu from a ryzen 9 5950x and b550 motherboard to the x870e-e rog strix gaming wifi motherboard, and it wont connect to internet through ethernet or wifi, I am on windows 10 so I know it cannot connect to wifi as it doesnt support wifi 7. I'm stumped on why it wont connect, I've updated my bios, downgraded it, installed new drivers for realtek ethernet and nothing works.

Hello @alfonzo

Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for the delayed response due to a public holiday in our region and any inconvenience this may have caused.
According to the Tech Specs on the official ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI webpage, the supported operating system is Windows® 11 64-bit.
Based on this, we recommend updating your operating system and installing the latest drivers available on the ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI support page before checking the motherboard’s network connectivity again.
Additionally, please ensure that the Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi antenna is properly connected.

For further details, please refer to the ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI user manual and the following FAQs:

Thank you.

Due to the local holidays, my responses may be slightly delayed.
For any urgent cases, we recommend reaching out to your local service center for further assistance. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
