I updated BIOS on Z890-H and PC doesn‘t start on anymore

After my previous problems (https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/yellow-q-led-on-z890-h/m-p/1117108#M15393), I got a new mainboard and the PC boots and it was in BIOS.
As first thing, I updated BIOS on Z890-H to v2006 (downloaded this 2 weeks ago from website) and then the PC restarted and switched off. Since the message during installation process was something with „system restart“, I waited some time but nothing happend so I switched the PC on, but it turned off after 1s.

Then I downloaded the newest Version 2201 from website, cleared CMOS and tried to install BIOS directly via USB and BIOS Flashback (green LED was blinking 2 minutes during update, so I think this was ok).
After this, when I turned on the PC, it switched on/off 10 times
Then start with 1s red QLED and 3s yellow QLED (think this ist he normal POST check), then the PC turned off

I removed the CMOS battery for about 30min, then also did CMOS reset button and then again installed BIOS directly via USB and BIOS Flashback (green LED was blinking 2 minutes during update, so I think this was ok).

no changes, system still shuts down

I found this in some other forum:
I called ASUS and they gave me info on where to find the BIOS version that was originally on the motherboard (that BIOS version is on printed on the motherboard sticker) and when I flashed that version in, everything works fine

Where can I find my original BIOS version: https://www.asus.com/de/support/faq/1044755/

I download the original v0253 installed it and could start the PC with the initial BIOS.

Then I tried to install the v2201 via EZ Flash, I think that on update, I didn't makes this correctly: "Updating this BIOS will simultaneously update the corresponding Intel ME to version v19.0.5.1992v2.The ME version will remain updated even if you roll back to an older BIOS later. We recommend using EZ Flash to update the BIOS, as it supports ZIP format and auto-updates the ME."

Because also then, it installed the v2201 + ME, makes some restart but then the same behaviour.

I could update v0253 to 1302, 1401, 1501 and then to 1603. They have Intel ME to version v19.0.0.1854v2.2 and v1603 has Intel ME version v19.0.5.1948. So in general the BIOS and also ME update (included in the ZIP) should work.

Later updates cause the same problem, I need some solution for this.

v1603 is working and has ME version v19.0.5.1948

v1703+1801 have the same ME version as 1603, and I can't update to them, also updates to higher BIOS with higher ME does not work

When I try to update my current v 1603, the PC restarts and then nothing happens

  • 1603 to 1703 not possible, even if the same ME version
  • 1603 to 1801 not possible, even if the same ME version
  • 1603 to 1901 not possible, new BIOS has higher ME version
  • 1603 to 2201 not possible, new BIOS has higher ME version

During EZ Flash, I see that before BIOS date it updates also MW

I see that I could also use this tool in windows, MEUpdateTool, but they write that BIOS and ME should be updated both, so when I first make ME update in windows and then BIOS update doesn't work, will I still be able to reset to the running v1603 via USB and BIOS Flashback
