I would have appreciated a through response to this thread: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/how-to-run-ddr5-192-4x48-on-a-x870e-hero/td-p/1092... instead of having to post this question. I agree with what you are saying, but you could have answered his question not pointed out his problems. But you did, so I'll ask my question and also point out ASUS's glaring customer service problems. Now, I have a rog-crosshair-x870e-hero, amd 9950x3d, and gskill 192gb kit F5-6000J2836G48GX4-FX5 that 'is' on the Memory QVL for the ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO. There is no literature on the bios settings to make this memory work nor is there clear information anywhere online despite tons of online questions on how to get 192gb of RAM to work while the few successful people posted online whom have achieved this objective have often stated using settings which exceed the limitations of the above mentioned system (i.e. setting memory voltage to 1.5 when you can only get 1.435 in the above ASUS/AMD/GSKILL configuration). So, "how to run ddr5 192 (4x48) on a x870e hero"?! ASUS tech support doesn't know, they had no clue what settings to use at all. I asked them what settings were used to confirm compatibility and they had "NO CLUE". They didn't know if AUTO would work, which it doesn't, nor if Expo 1 would work which it should but doesn't. They didn't know of any other settings to tune, or have any advise at all except to blame the memory and cpu. Just to be clear, I have already tested each memory stick for errors using MemTest86+ and they all work as well as all memory slots on the motherboard and they all work, thank-you. The CPU at this point has not been tested, nor the entire motherboard. Getting back to the ASUS customer service response, after being unable to define the confirmed bios settings that should work out of the box I was told instead that "I should just accept a lower speed below 3600mhz and lower ram below 192gb" and be happy with that! ASUS customer service was just like ordering a Prime Rib and the server bring out chicken soup and saying you should just be happy with that!!! Disgusting, unprofessional, and a completely slap-in-the-face to what ASUS advertises boldly on their product sales literature. As for the hard coded options, there isn't a preset anywhere for the memory kit in the bios but there are many for other memory kits. Why not have a preset for all of the memory kits ASUS says are compatible? So, my question for ASUS Customer Service or anyone that has been able to get this combination of parts to work, step by step, starting in the Bios, - how do I set it up?
