HELP! SSD~M.2 B-350F Gaming (ASUS)

Folks, I know I'm asking for HELP! on a old product.. 

"specs" 

ASUS B350F Gaming (Strix Mobo).. 

updated to latest bios.. 63XX? 

Ryzen 5 3100 cpu (not overclocked).. 

16 gigs Mem. 

CSM --> enabled 

Nvme native drivers enabled. 

Partitioned  said drive in Winders 10-X64, (It's D:).. 

can see it in windeers AND , I can see in BIOS.. Info in the Nvme opition . Drive type, Gigs etc..

BUT...... 

M.2 Slot says it's EMPTY!  

WHAT in the AF   !? 

Thus cannot "boot" into that drive Nvme.. (M.2).. Or boot/install Winders onto the M.2 drive , (from dvd)

M.2 drive is a ADATA XPG S20 500 gig..  

HELP!! OR solutions?

Regarding the ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING motherboard, the latest BIOS version is 6203.
Could you please confirm your current version,and have you used any adapters or extensions to connect the M.2 SSD?
Based on your description, we recommend checking the BIOS version and clearing CMOS to confirm if the issue can be resolved with default BIOS settings.
If possible, please try cross-testing with a different M.2 SSD.
