I'm a little confused, not sure if this is a gaming only (ROG) forum or if it's a general asus computer components forum?

Hello @towbar

May I ask if you are having any concerns or issues during ASUS motherboard usage?
The ROG forum is specifically for discussions related to the ROG or TUF gaming series products.
If you have inquiries regarding non-gaming series motherboards, we recommend posting your discussion on Zentalk>Motherboard.

Thank you.

I'm just trying to get info about what COULD be my next motherboard, the x670e crosshair hero. I'm not into gaming and never will be, is that a gaming motherboard? What is zentalk? That's not an english word. Will I have to join a different forum if I need info about a different motherboard? Is there no general motherboard forum?

Currently I'm looking for these features

- full ECC support

- 6 sata ports

- if onboard wifi there must be a way to PHYSICALLY disconnect it

- 2 or more pcie slots

- AM5, friendly to ryzen 5 and above

- DDR5

Hello @towbar

You can find the full specifications of the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO on the official website.
To check memory support, go to the Support page > CPU/Memory Support > Memory, and select "ECC-UDIMM" under the "Type" filter to view the QVL for compatible memory.

Please refer to [Motherboard] How to query (CPU/memory) QVL List? if needed.
For hardware specifications and installation guide, you can also refer to the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO user manual, including page vii and page xii for Expansion Slots, and page 2-22 for the Wi-Fi moving antenna installation.

Thank you.
