Hello,
This is my config :
MB : ROG STRIX z790-A Gaming WIFI II (Bios 1402)
CPU : Intel 14900KF
GPU : RTX Geforce 4090 RTX
And i have some games like Red Dead Redemption who still crashing at the startup, or lost ark who stop randomly for no reasons while i'm playing. All my drivers are up to date
I've got the latest version of the bios 1402 and i put the config to "Intel Default Setting" and "Performance" on bios but i still have the issue.
Does someone can help me ? Maybe i've got something more to config on bios ?

Hi @Streap
In some instances, ETVB behaviour may cause an issue, which is why syncing all cores to the stock all-core ratio or lower may help stability depending on the workload. This is hopefully be addressed in future CPU microcode.

@Streap
1. Clear CMOS
2. Ensure Intel Default - Performance profile is selected.
3. Leave AI Tuner in Auto - Do not enable XMP Overclocking.
4. Revaluate stability.

Done, same things again

Hi @Streap
Can you confirm if you're using a contact frame for the CPU? If so, remove and retest with the stock retention bracket.
Ensure that SVID Behaviour is set to Intel Fail Safe.
If no change contact Intel support.

Nope always the same things but I find a solution and i don't know if it is a risk for my CPU (lifetime/temperature/voltage) :
in performance preference i choose : "ASUS Advanced profil OC", i put manually Cpu core cache limit max to 307, long duration package power limit to 253 and Short duration package power limit to 253
I have set Performance core limit to "Sync All Core" and i set all core Ration value to "57" (my ratio)
It is a correct config or it is risky for my component ?

Thank you so much !!! actually I think everything will be fixed with the August patch, I'm sticking with my configuration above and will remove it when the patch arrives.

Any chance this could be the issue?

The issue is intrinsically related to the behaviour being addressed in the microcode patch. Whether or not it fixes the problem on a case by case basis is yet to be determined.
