Front panel usb-c provides power, not detecting devices.

As the title mentions, my tuf gaming x670e-pkys wifi motherboard usb-c 3.2 header provides power to front panel port, but isn't detecting devices. Could this be a BIOS issue, or case issue? Looked in BIOS to make sure all ports are enabled, which they are, so I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.

PS: Sorry if this was asked before. I didn't find anything with this specific issue before asking.

I updated the BIOS,, but wasn't the issue. I did figure it out, and everything is working fine. Let's just say it was poor product documentation (not ASUS) that was the culprit. The cable i was using wasn't for data transfer. Nothing on the cable, nor in the manual of the product it came with specified that. I bought a new cable, and it worked. Thanks for your reply.

Hello, @SilentDave

Could you please clarify if this issue occurred after the PC was first built or after using it for some time and occurred following any recent changes, such as a BIOS update or the connection of an external device?
May I ask what devices are currently connected, and have you attempted cross-testing different devices or different ports?
We recommend consulting the TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS user manual and ensuring that the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C® Front Panel connector is correctly connected to the chassis.

Also, if you haven't updated BIOS to the latest version 2613, released on April 17, 2024, please consider updating and clearing CMOS before rechecking again.

Thank you.
