{EDIT- PROBLEM FIXED] I fixed this. Not sure exactly how but I did 2 things 1) removed the existing video device before restarting; 2) removed a firewire card I forgot I had installed.
I built a new computer with a Corsshair X670E, and after a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro on a newly formatted hard drive, the computer will not load windows with my Geforce RTX 3050 video card installed. It will load with the onboard graphics if the RTX 3050 is not installed. If the RTX 3050 video card is installed, system will load BIOS, and Windows starts to load, but goes to a black screen just after the startup sounds. (System specks below.) Any help would be appreciated.
Troubleshooting so far:
Updated motherboard BIOS.
Updated all mother board drivers.
Disabled onboard video.
Disconnected all hardware other than HD, RAM, Video Card.
Attempted Windows reapair tool. (Cannot repair windows.)
Attempted to pre-load graphics card drivers without card installed, however install failed due to no detectible graphics card.
System Specs:
MB- ROG Crosshair X670E (running out of box settings [no overclocking].
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core Processor
Graphics Card: GEFORCE RTX 3050 (PCIE 4.0 x8 8GB)
Memory: 65 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5
PSU: MSI MPG A850GF 850W
