Hi, first post on this forum. I am currently experiencing a weird problem with my intel i7 13700kf that is installed on a ROG STRIX B760-A GAMING WIFI D4 board (LATEST BIOS 1661). When I run it in cinebench r23 (Multi-core test) with an RTX 4080 and 32GB of 3600MHZ CL18 ram, my highest score is 802 points.
I currently have an under-volt set to 1.27500 V with Intel default power settings in the bios and this is due to the fact that my CPU throttles when running at a high voltage with an unlimited power limit which results in low CPU clocks. This undervolt reduced my temperatures at maximum workloads and has maintained a high boost clock on this CPU. But on Cinebench, regardless of the core clocks being as high as they can, the CPU continues to give out a sub-100 score.
I have seeked help elsewhere and I was told to disable IA CEP which is located in my bios since the person said that this can mess with a CPU that is undervolted and cause significantly low benchmark scores.
When I found this option in my bios, I saw that it was automatically set to enabled and was unable to be changed regardless of me removing the undervolt or changing microcode.
I do not know how else I can resolve this problem so thanks in advance for any solutions.

Hi @EvilWithin11
Without checking, I'm not sure it's possible to change CEP when using Intel Default Profiles. If you clear the CMOS and change no parameters, does the score still remain circa 800 points?
Given the current situation, I wouldn't keep trying to run high current synthetic tests, especially if other applications provide the expected performance.

Hi, thanks for your insight.
It does remain impossible for me to change CEP when altering the profile presets despite your suggestions. For example, even after setting the preset to the ASUS OC profile, resetting CMOS and removing my undervolt, this setting remained greyed out for me.
However, my game performance appears good and it doesnt impact me while gaming.
But the low score is concerning.

I had a much lower Cinebench score with SVID Behaviour set to anything other than Intel Fail Safe (but much better than your score!).
I set SVID Behaviour to Typical and then certainly colud change IA CEP to disabled which recovered my Cinebench score - see https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/intel-700-600-series/weird-svid-behaviour-in-new-z790-bios/td-p/103702...
