After working on my asus z690 plus wifi d4 computer for about 4 hours after shutting it down, it won't turn on again. The board lights up. After that, disconnect all the connections and turn it back on and it is on. I give power from a UPS. And shut down and turn off the UPS, the power cable is connected in the same way.
please help me

I think I am having the same issue on my ROG Crosshair X670E. Bios version is 2204. 2124 was the most stable version for me. I wish I didn't update to the latest one. I think 2204 is buggy. And I can't downgrade. It is not working. I don't know what to do.

Hello @DamithT
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please clarify if this issue occurred after the PC was first built or after using it for some time and occurred following any recent changes, such as a BIOS update or component replacement?
May I ask if you are shutting down the system through Windows by selecting "Start" > "Power" > "Shut down"?
If you try shutting down by directly pressing and holding the power button on the chassis, are you able to successfully cold boot afterward?
Is your current BIOS version the latest version 3802 released on August 9, 2024, and have you tried clearing CMOS?
Based on your description, we recommend referring to the TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 user manual to ensure all the components are installed correctly.
Kindly avoid using extension cables or adapters to connect devices, and also remove the UPS or cross-test with another PSU to rule out potential hardware issues during testing.
Thank you.
