D6 error

Boot stops at d6 error,  have tried using different pcie slots and made sure gpu has power, as the fan on it spins.  Have also tried clearing cmos which didnt help.

Setup:  ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI,  i7 13700kf, nvidia rtx a4000

not rly sure what else to try

May I ask if you are still experiencing the boot issue with Q-code D6?
As mentioned, when an Intel board shows Q-code D6 during boot, it indicates a GPU-related error.
Please refer to [Motherboard] Common Q-CODE(Error CODE) and Troubleshooting for guidance.
Meanwhile, have you been using an extension cable or adapter to connect the GPU?
If so, please remove it and check the results when directly installing the GPU into the PCIe slot.
Is your BIOS updated to the latest version? During the process of testing different PCIe slots, have you tried setting the corresponding PCIe slot to [Gen 4] in the BIOS?
If possible, we recommend cross-testing with a different GPU to help isolate any potential hardware issues.
