Hello,
My computer stopped POSTing/booting after I attempted to update the BIOS.
I looked most threads on internet without finding a working solution for me, I juste hope that my MB or CPU are ok.
My spec is the following:
ROG CROSSHAIR X670E Hero
Ryzen 7950x3d
2*32 GB of Corsair Dominator 6400 MHz CL32 (Expo was set at 6000 MHz max for stability)
Observations:
I have a yellow QCode 15 staying for short time (I understood that it has to do with RAM training) then it switch to QCode C5
Or sometimes QCode C5 appears very quickly
What I tried:
Use only one RAM stick on A2 or B2 slots
Clear CMOS from the backplate of the motherboard
Flash BIOS to an older version
Thank you for your help, I'm sure my message is not the clearest one as this is my first time with such an issue.
Have a nice day!

Hello @Gripsou
May I ask which method you used to update the BIOS and whether the update process was fully completed? Could you also confirm which BIOS version you updated from and to?
When the system fails to pass POST, aside from rapidly cycling Q-codes, does it remain on a specific Q-code for an extended period, or does the Q-LED indicator remain?
Due to potential parameter adjustments across different BIOS versions, could you kindly confirm whether the memory is listed in the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO memory QVL?
We recommend you consult the user manual to ensure all hardware components are properly installed, including verifying that the CPU pins are not bent and that the CPU is not installed too loosely or too tightly.
Furthermore, please attempt a minimal hardware setup: remove the chassis and leave only the CPU installed on the motherboard, using iGPU output, with a single memory module in the DIMM_A2 slot, and PSU to confirm the booting process. If possible, we suggest cross-testing other memory modules listed on the QVL.
Additionally, to ensure system stability, we suggest keeping memory clocking settings default until the system is confirmed to be functioning properly.
Thank you.
