I'm trying to turn off usb power when my machine is asleep, so peripherals are not lit up all the time. I turned on ErP S4+S5 Enabled in the bios, turned off fast boot in Windows 11, but still my usb devices are powered on at sleep. I'm on BIOS 0706, if that matters. What setting am I missing?

Hi @el_jefe_77
Navigate to Advanced > Onboard Device Configuration and disable USB power delivery in Soft Off state (S5).

That is disabled, sorry I forgot to mention that in the original post. It seems like I have all the right toggles/options turned off.

Hello @el_jefe_77
Based on the guidelines in How to terminate USB power when the system shuts down, could setting ErP Ready to [Enable (S5)] instead of [Enable (S4+S5)] result in any differences?
Thank you.

Unfortunately, switching to just [Enable (S5)] doesn't work either.

I tried resetting the CMOS last night, fully clear everything and that did not work. I may try an older BIOS version this weekend and see if it still occurs.

I have the same problem. Already tested what you mention here but still have power on my external soundcard when pc is shut off. Can't find any other settings in bios to turn usb power off, which needs to be fixed

Hello @MrMandel
We recommend that you refer to [Windows 11/10] Change Power Mode and Plan, and further adjust the settings and restrictions under "Change advanced power settings." Please check again after making these adjustments.
Thank you.
