Hi @UnclWish in your original post you mentioned that you are on Windows 24H2. Is that a mistake and you are on Windows 23H2? Or are you truly on Windows 24H2?

The reason I am asking this question is because Windows 24H2 has not been officially released. When I go to Microsoft Download page for Windows 11 and select English (United States) as my language, I get a download link to download 23H2 ISO file, check it out at https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows11

Beta versions of the OS are bound to have issues. You are better off getting help from Microsoft Community Forum around Windows 11 Beta issues instead of here as it could be a Windows 11 issue.

Hi @achugh It's not a mistake. I'm really on 24H2 Windows 11.

About 2,5 months ago Microsoft started to distribute 24H2 version. And was an ISO for it. But after some time they removed ISO and stopped to share 24H2. Didn't know why.

I'm received 24H2 version through Windows update and updated my 23H2 to 24H2 as a member of Windows Insider program. As I know at this moment even members of WI didn't receives 24H2 through WU services. And MS gives 24H2 only some OEM manufactures.

24H2 have it's own stable/preview/beta/canary/dev channels. I'm on release preview.

Maybe my issue is 24H2 bug. I want to find out it.

Hi @UnclWish thank you for confirming that you are indeed using Windows 11 24H2 Insider Preview release.

May I recommend that you create a separate Windows installation on a different disk or a different partition using 23H2 and confirm that you still have these issues.

If you do choose to follow the part of installing another Windows version on your computer, please note that the ASUS UEFI Bootloader does not support this option at the moment. You will have to DISABLE Fast Boot AND ASUS Logo Display in your Boot Configuration for the 2nd Windows Installation to complete without BSOD. You can read about my issues about this setup in https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/z790-dark-hero-bios-1302-logo-patch-bsod-with-mult... post.

I hope this helps your move forward with your troubleshooting. Good luck!

@achugh I will think about it. But this is no so simple way to investigate the reason of issue. Maybe when I will have enough time to research a post on your link and make all of it.

Sounds good. Good luck with your journey to find the root cause and a solution for it!

Hi @UnclWish

You need to select Ryzen Balanced Power Plan.

Also please confirm if this issue happens with DOCP/EXPO disabled.

I didn't have "Ryzen Balanced" Power Plan. I have standard Windows plans: "Balanced", "High performance" etc. I use High performance. Is balanced more effective?

Thanks for helping. I will try to disable DOCP function.

Your SKU doesn't require Ryzen Power Plan which is likely why the profile isn't visible.

I would disable DOCP/EXPO overclocking to see if the behaviour desists. Removing any overclock is troubleshooting 101. You can use the Clear CMOS function located on the motherboard's rear IO panel.

Did the behaviour occur prior to installing 24H2? There have been some issues with this build and CPU frequency, but seemed isolated to Intel platforms.

Yes, Ryzens 5000 and 7000 series not require Ryzen power plans.

I will disable DOCP function, when issue happens again and try to clear all settings in bios to default. My mobo didn't have Clear CMOS button on rear IO panel ((( Only jumper.

I buy CPU about 2 months ago and 24H2 was installed from start of using this CPU.
