@michatyp44 Have you tried to clearing CMOS using this FAQ and see if that helps? If this does not help, can you try disabling FAST BOOT option and any LOGO Display Option in the BIOS under Boot Configuration? See https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/z790-dark-hero-bios-1302-logo-patch-bsod-with-mult... for these boot configuration options if they are available on your motherboard model in case they help solve your issue.

Hi! I am not OP but I had the same issue they had and just wanted to confirm that the solution offered by achug is working. I cleared CMOS but also had to disable fast boot. But then no problems and my computer starts on the very first boot.

Hello, @michatyp44

Could you please specify what software or hardware changes were made before this issue occurred?
Based on your description, referring to the Q-Code table for the MAXIMUS VIII RANGER :

We recommend checking the PSU, reconnecting the power cables and all hardware on the motherboard to ensure proper connection, clearing CMOS, or replacing the CMOS battery to see if the issue persists.
Also, if you haven't updated to the latest BIOS version 3802 yet, please consider backing up your data and proceeding with the update.

Thank you.

Due to the ongoing regional holidays, my responses may be slightly delayed.
Thank you in advance for your patience 🙂
