I have a rog strix x670e-a gaming wifi motherboard, a 7800x3d, and a 4070. Whenever I try to boot my PC I get the rog icon with (press del or F2 to enter bios) however even if I do I just get a black screen. I have no LEDs light up on motherboard except for starting cycle and the green one because Im trying to boot. I have a 27" armada from hyperX. Thing is before remounting the GPU I could get into bios and boot windows, but often had no signal message on monitor, so I stopped the PC and turned off power supply remounted it and now I don't get the no signal issue but can't get to bios. Also windows need a startup repair that I cannot do because I can't boot window trough Bios. Therefore I can not get to windows. Also before I had the ram not proberly mounted in a2 b2 but a1 a2 tho I fixed that already.

Hi @Xenovia since you did not mention it, can you confirm if you have set your PCIe speed to GEN4 for your GFX Card slot instead of AUTO? Can you also share the exact GFX Card Make and Model?
Also what version of BIOS are you currently using? Are you using the BIOS that came with the board or did you also try to update BIOS as part of your troubleshooting?
With the information you have shared, I am assuming you have recently built a new machine and this is your first attempt to make it work. I am also assuming you added the drive from your old computer to this new computer so that you can have a working Windows. If this is the case, it is NOT recommended to copy a Windows installation from another system since the hardware will be very different and may give you issues once you get past your current hurdle. A fresh Windows installation on a new PC is the recommended path.

Hello @Xenovia
Could you please clarify if this issue occurred after the PC was first built or after using it for some time and occurred following any recent changes, such as a BIOS update or component replacement?
May I ask if the green LED mentioned is the yellow-green Q-LED that indicates the Boot Device?
If so, we recommend that you refer to the [Motherboard] ASUS motherboard troubleshooting via Q-LED indicators guide for further clarification.
Please check the ROG STRIX X670E-A GAMING WIFI User’s Manual and BIOS settings to ensure that all hardware, including the boot drive and HDMI/DP cable, is installed and configured correctly.
You can also try removing all SSDs, HDDs, and external drives, keeping only the system drive for booting.
Additionally, kindly refer to [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - No Power/No Boot/No Display if needed.
Thank you.
