Hey all,
I’ve been suffering from constant BSODs ever since I built this PC. Specs:
CPU: i9-14900K
Motherboard: ROG Maximus Z790 Formula
GPU: ROG RTX 4090
RAM: 4×32GB Kingston Fury Renegade 6000MHz (128GB total, XMP enabled)
I keep getting different BSODs — including System Service Exception and others. Sometimes it crashes randomly under light/heavy load. I’ve tried disabling XMP, still unstable. I suspect the 128GB is pushing the memory controller too hard.
Anyone else running 128GB stable on this board? Would love to hear your working BIOS settings (VCCSA, VDDQ, DRAM voltage, etc).
Really appreciate any help — this is driving me crazy.
Thanks in advance!

Hello DOSHKA
Having a look at the kingston website, there is no such 128GB memory kit.
This means you're combining two memory kits which is not recommended.
Use one memory kit in slots A2-B2, this should go much better.
You might get all four sticks to work, but at a much lower frequency.

Hello @DOSHKA
ASUS has verified the motherboard for the best stability and compatibility when installed with the devices in Memory QVL list.
As suggested by Nate152, in addition to referring to the ROG MAXIMUS Z790 FORMULA memory QVL, please also review the "Purchasing and Installation Guide" available on the same page:
We also recommend clearing CMOS and checking system stability under default BIOS settings. At the same time, please monitor hardware and system temperature changes.
Additionally, you may refer to the suggestions in [Motherboard] Solution to Blue Screen of Death for related troubleshooting.
Thank you.
