Hello,
I recently built a new PC, with all new components except for the GPU. Here is my setup:
From the first boot, no video signal was output by the GPU. I had to connect the monitor directly to the motherboard’s HDMI port to access the BIOS. I then installed Windows 11 in this configuration. After that, the video signal returned via the GPU's DisplayPort, but only within Windows. The BIOS still wouldn't display through the GPU. This issue was resolved by updating all drivers (via Asus DriverHub), disabling Fast Boot in the BIOS, and enabling Launch CSM.
When the EXPO mode is enabled, the Crucial T705 on M.2_1 randomly disappears from the BIOS. I had to disable EXPO for everything to work properly, although it's disappointing because I can’t use the RAM to its full potential (this kit is on the motherboard's QVL list).
I regularly encounter BSODs. After a restart, the Crucial T705 (M2_1) is no longer recognized. I have to power off the PC completely and then turn it back on for the disk to be detected again. Here are some observations after several tests:
Thank you in advance for your help in resolving these issues.

Update #1
I strongly suspected the Crucial T705 in the M2_1 slot was causing the BSODs. To test this, I completely removed the T705 from the system and moved my SN770 to the M2_1 slot.
It’s been nearly 24 hours now without a single BSOD.
If this stability holds, the next step will be determining whether the T705 itself is defective or if the issue was related to a hardware conflict with the M2_1 slot. I’ll continue testing and share further updates.

Hello @Guibsiguibs
Thank you for reaching out to us and providing the complete hardware specifications and detailed context.
Regarding your inquiries:
Issue 1_ Your subsequent settings meet the GPU compatibility requirements, so we consider this issue resolved.
Issue 2_ When enabling EXPO settings, is the issue of the Crucial T705 2TB installed in M2_1 not being recognized intermittently also happening when only a single memory module is installed in DIMM_A? Could you please provide the exact EXPO settings you have applied? Does the issue persist if only EXPO I is enabled?
Issue 3_ What is the firmware version of the Crucial T705 2TB when the BSOD occurs? In the configuration where the Crucial T705 2TB is installed in M2_1 and the SN770 2TB is installed in M2_2, would the BSOD issue be avoided if the EXPO setting is not enabled?
Are there any advanced power management settings in the power plan, BIOS, or the system that could contribute to the BSOD issue?
Would the following scenarios potentially result in a BSOD?
1) Installing the Crucial T705 2TB solely in M2_1, with M2_2 unoccupied
2) Installing the Crucial T705 2TB solely in M2_2, with M2_1 unoccupied
Update#1_ When the SN770 2TB is installed in M2_1 or M2_2 and the Crucial T705 2TB is not installed, does enabling memory overclocking settings cause any BSODs?
Based on the information provided, it appears that there may be an issue with the Crucial T705 2TB device, and we would like to investigate this further.
Could you kindly provide a comprehensive video recording that captures the five scenarios mentioned in Issue 3, including when the Crucial T705 2TB is installed, and also indicate whether there is any correlation with enabling EXPO settings (if applicable, please include this in the video)?
We will compile the information and forward it to the relevant team for further investigation.
Thank you.

Hello @Jiaszzz_ROG
Thank you for your detailed reply and assistance! Below are my responses to the points you raised:
Issue 1:
Yes, this issue has been resolved as long as CSM is enabled.
Issue 2:
I attempted to reproduce the issue of the T705 intermittently not being recognized when EXPO is enabled, but I could not replicate it this time. Initially, the problem occurred with EXPO I (6400 MHz) enabled and both DIMM_A and DIMM_B slots populated.
I may have inferred that the EXPO mode was linked to the disconnection issue, but this might not be the case. However, enabling EXPO I at 6400 MHz (6400 32-39-39-80-1,40V-1,40V) consistently causes BSODs, even without the T705 installed. Lowering the frequency to 6000 MHz (6000 30-36-36-80-1,40V-1,40V) seems stable (again, without the T705).
Issue 3:
Here are the results of the requested tests:
Installing the Crucial T705 2TB solely in M2_1, with M2_2 unoccupied (EXPO disabled):
I performed a test using CrystalDiskMark. It resulted in a BSOD followed by the disk disconnecting. This test is documented in Video "T705 BSOD M2 1".
Installing the Crucial T705 2TB solely in M2_2, with M2_1 unoccupied (EXPO disabled):
The result was identical to Test 1. A BSOD occurred, followed by a disk disconnection. This is documented in Video "T705 BSOD M2 2".
About my 1rst Update:
As mentioned earlier, enabling EXPO I at 6400 MHz renders the system unstable. I have not observed any instability with EXPO I set to 6000 MHz so far. That said, all the tests were conducted with all BIOS settings set to default, except for the CSM option.
Please let me know if you need additional details or further testing.
Thank you for your support!
