Bios update rog maximus ix formula

Hello, I noticed that the BIOS of my motherboard is still at version 0222 x64 from 2016, which isn't even listed on the ASUS page: https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-maximus/rog-maximus-ix-formula-model/helpdesk_bios/. Is it possible to update directly to the latest version from 2021, the one with Windows 11 support? My Intel processor (i7 7700k) is not officially supported, but by converting the disk from MBR to GPT after BIOS update, I should be able to enable at least TPM and Secure Boot.

My system has never had any issues, but it's likely that the BIOS has never been updated. There have been several improvements to CPU support and stability between 2016 and 2021.ASUS only says to install the latest available version.

summary: Windows 10, i7770k 4.20GHz, RAM G.Skill DDR4-2132 (1066 MHz) x 4, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (Gigabyte), storage KINGSTON SV300S37A480G, 223GB ROG RAID R Express PCIe S SCSI

Thank you for a feedback
