It has been quite a while waiting for the BIOS with the LogoFail fix for the B550-E and B550-F Gaming Wifi boards-will one be coming?

You are not alone to ask ASUS to do their job. My computer has been updated with a bios update one year after the arrival of product, and since many years, NOTHING. I asked them to do an official communication on LogoFAIL threat, since it is a very serious case, with impossibility for us to do something to protect against this. I had a better opinion on ASUS before this threat. I observe that, as majority of companies, it is not your security or you benefit that they take care of. it's your Money.

Michael Jackson wa singing 'They don't care about us'...

the way that this is managed need to go public

The indifference they have about their customers security is concerning and unnacceptable.

Stumbled across this thread doing a search. I am still waiting for Gigabyte to update. There's loads of boards to cover so it's obviously taking some time, we can only keep pushing.

Begining to wonder if ASUS MB's  are more susceptible to logofail than other manufacturers.  How long for an answer is too long?

We're already well past "too long". We've been waiting over 3 months for a major security patch on products only one generation old. That isn't OK.

Beginning to see the light, If you didn't get a logofail bios on 1/8/24, you're not.

Looks like I am going to have to eat my words.

What appears to be progress.  I have received this message from Jiaszzz_ROG Customer Service Agent.

Hello, @HateWaiting

Thank you for sharing the SN.
After confirmation from the relevant department, for the ROG STRIX B550-E GAMING, we have released a Beta BIOS to address the LogoFail vulnerability.
Please proceed to the link below for further downloading and installation:

**Regarding BIOS updates, failing to update the BIOS version corresponding to your specific model may pose risks such as unsuccessful updates or post-update abnormalities.
Furthermore, updating the BIOS carries the risk of boot failure. Please ensure to back up your data before proceeding with the update.

Thank you.

Unfortunately I'm leery of downloading a bios from anywhere other than the main ASUS support page.  I appreciate your work Jiaszzz_ROG but the world we live in has made me cautious.  Anyone else feel the same way or am I ignorant?

Jiaszzz is a customer service agent at HQ, I'm not sure how much more directly you could receive a link.
