It has been quite a while waiting for the BIOS with the LogoFail fix for the B550-E and B550-F Gaming Wifi boards-will one be coming?

Just came here to complain about this exact thing, I want to update my B550-F Gaming Wifi for the LogoFAIL exploit. This is not an ancient motherboard and the plain B550-F Gaming (no wifi) got an update 2 months ago!

I'm not an expert so don't understand how Tuff boards get priority over Strix and Crosshair boards.  Some communication from Asus to clarify would help.  My guess is they have prioritized boards sold at higher volume.  Leaves me questioning myself for buying the more expensive board.

On another case, here is the ASUS response :

given the age of your product, we do not offer recent BIOS updates as this may render the motherboard inoperable in some cases.

They don't care

UNACCEPTABLE.

Hopefully that was a much older product. This motherboard is one generation old.

To my understanding the B550-XE is identical to the B550-E with the only difference being it has the Hyper M.2 Card included.  So the fact there isn't a release for the B550-E makes even less sense.

I'm checking internally what the situation is currently. Validation takes time, so there's always a gap between SKUs regardless.

Thank you!

Please don't vanish on us.  Asus seems to be having a bigger issue with this than others .  I have always loved Asus bios and quality and am shocked at the lack of communication and commitment towards customers .
