B650E-I White Q-LED on 3207 Beta BIOS

Sptzz

Hi,

I've never had a single issue with this setup for almost 2 years. Beta bios 3201 was absolutely fine. But since I've updated to 3207 I've had 3 instances where upon reboot, the system won't even memory train and just go straight into white q-led, which means VGA. But I'm sure my GPU is completely fine. Nothing's changed, settings and setup is the same over 2 years. This is only cleared upon manually resetting CMOS. Which is a pain...

Not sure if it's an issue with this release but just wanted to inform / ask for assistance regarding this.

Specs:

  • 7800x3D
  • Asus B650E-I
  • 32GB Gskill Trident Z 6200 C30
  • Gainward Phantom 4090

Hello @Sptzz

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please confirm whether your GPU is installed directly into the PCIEX16 slot, or if it is connected via an extension cable or adapter? Is it necessary to clear the CMOS every time you power on, or does this issue only occur after restarting the system?

The latest BIOS version for the ROG STRIX B650E-I GAMING WIFI is 3208. After updating to this version using BIOS Flashback and clearing CMOS, are you still encountering the same issue? Additionally, please ensure that the GPU is properly seated in the PCIEX16 slot and that all power cables are securely connected.
If the problem persists, could you kindly provide a detailed video of the issue to help us better understand your hardware configuration and the abnormal behavior you are experiencing?

Thank you.
