Hi,
currently i am on old bios 1636 with 7800x3d. But i want to replace my 2x16gb ram with 2x32gb corsair 6000 cl30-36-36-76 expo ram. So i am thinking to upgrade bios as well. Which newer bios version is least problematic? 3035? I am stable on current old bios version but i had to set manually things like soc to 1.25v manually and expo 1 to boot, but stable.
With new RAM i might try buildzoid timings, so how are things now? Memory context on or off? Do i need to set voltages manually with newer bios version?
Thanks.

Hi @sanjuro Really a how long is a piece of string question. Context Restore can be left off for best stability. I would recommend just jumping straight to the latest BIOS if starting out with a new memory kit.

RAM kit is not completely new, i bought it in spring just didnt manage to find time to install, upgrade bios and test. Kits are Corsair CMH64GXM2B6000Z30. I am asking for specific bios version, since i found some threads with memory instabilities on Agesa 1.2.0.3x / 32xx bioses.
Mainly reffering to the thread: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/amd-600-series/b650e-i-bios-3278-expo-instability-with-g-skill-ddr5-60...
I just cant afford for my pc to be unstable. And since there is no way back to older bios versions, i have to decide now to which version to upgrade.

Sorry, but you're asking for assurances no-one can give you. There are no guarantees with overclocking. Best to just flash to the latest AGESA, as 1.2.0.3 is fairly old.
