I recently upgraded my pc. Everything was working in the beginning, but my pc started freezing randomly. At first I thought this was because I was running my ram too fast, but layer found out an application was freezing my computer because if hardware acceleration. I turned hardware acceleration off and that resolved the issue, but now I can't change the speed on my ram. No matter how many times I change the ram speed from 4800 mhz to 6000 mhz, after resting the ram I still running at 4800 mhz. This would be fine, except I know my pc can run 6000 mhz. It's also just the fact that I can't change my ram speed to any other speed makes me think I'm missing something that's locking my ram speed at 4800 mhz? The bios recognizes that I make this change, the setting stays in 6009 mhz, but never goes above 4800mhz.

Hello @tofa
Could you please confirm if your BIOS is the latest 3014, the part number of the installed RAM, whether the memory is listed on the ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI QVL, and the current memory slot configurations?
For information on memory selection, we recommend referring to the [Motherboard] How to query (CPU/memory) QVL List? and the "Purchasing and Installation Guide" on the Memory QVL page.
For details on memory overclocking, please refer to Memory Kits - Overclocking and What You May Not Know.
Thank you.
