B650E-E USB Not working

GreasyGamer

I have seen multiple other reports in this forum about this same issue where to top USB-A ports do not work on the B650E-E but none of those solutions have worked. I am using a NZXT internal USB hub but I have no way around it. This is because I'm using 4 ports total for my NZXT AIO, Strimmer Cables, Uni fans, and NZXT fans. If there are any other solutions they would be greatly appreciated I am on BIOS 3057 and have the latest NVidia, AMD, And ASUS drivers installed.

The hub is connected internally but I was able to solve this by unplugging that hub while the pc was running an then plugging it back in.

Edit: These are the ports that do not work. https://imgur.com/nrYdDwDhaving 3 things on my USB hub and one on the normal motherboard port leads me to believe they are related because with 4 internal USB devices 4 ports don't work.

Hello @GreasyGamer

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Based on your description, if the issue only occurs when connecting the USB hub to the designated USB-A port, while other devices do not experience this issue, it can be inferred that the port itself is not faulty.
USB hubs may have additional power/grounding requirements. Generally, the issue you described could be caused by a lack of grounding, leading to a short circuit. Therefore, we recommend verifying the device specifications and connection setup to ensure everything is correct.

Additionally,  we found the following explanation in the NZXT internal USB hub related FAQs:

Please confirm if this device matches what you are currently using, and if this information is helpful.

Thank you.
