Reviving https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/b550-i-crashing-with-nvidia-4000-series-gpus/td-p/... turns out the motherboard also causes crashes on the 5000-series. Would have been great to have known before I bought a 5070 Ti (upgrading from a 2070 Super, hence my ignorance of this fatal hardware issue).

I'm also having the same issue, and after a lot of troubleshooting (switching to 3080, fresh windows not fixing, all drivers/bios/chipsets up to date, switching power management to high performance in nvidia panel and not seeing issues), im getting confident this is the mobo B550i Strix compatibility with the 4000 and now 5000 series nvidia GPUs. Very dissapointing, and given it looks like the 4000 series was never fixed I don't have hope that this will get fixed for 5000 series either.
Can you confirm if this is known and being actively worked on? If not I'm afraid to say I'll have to replace my mobo and won't be going ASUS again in the future.
