@Jiaszzz_ROG I leaved the PM, thanks for quick reply.

I finally received the issue-resolved motherboard for B550-i from the local ASUS company through ASUS headquarters. The random shutdown issue mainly occurred during idle, and the newly received motherboard seems to have cleanly resolved this problem. Thank you @Jiaszzz_ROG for the fast and efficient handling.

Hello,

I have a similar error with my display either freezing or turning black seemingly at random times, usually when I'm in desktop mode rather than in a full screen game. It can happen at any time. I've tried running Cinebench and Furmark at the same time for extended periods without crashes/black screens so it is very random when it does happen.

My system is:

5800x3d

Kingston Fury Beast 64GB 3600MHz CL18

Asus Rog Strix B550-I Gaming

RTX 4090 FE

Asus Loki SFX-L 1000W

Hello @Jiaszzz_ROG , can you please PM me, I've been also experiencing same problems with Asus ROG Strix B550i and RTX 4090 for past few months. Since is see that problem is not fixable I would like to know what can be done under warranty. Thanks.

Hi @Jiaszzz_ROG

I was not able to send this info to you as a PM (maximum number of PMs reached even though I sent 0 PMs since registering.)

Hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to you concerning the issue described in this topic.

I have used my ROG Strix B550-I for months without issue with a 3070 Ti, but as soon as I upgraded to a 4070 I started getting hard crashes, even losing unsaved work in premiere pro as a result. I would have been okay using the card in maximum performance mode, however I still get crashes, they are just less frequent.

As the issue seems unfixable by software and my motherboard is still under warranty, I hope ASUS can help me out.
