I'm reposting this here from the ROG forum community post for better visibility

Could someone please get back to the growing list of users with the issue described in the above thread?

FWIW I punted on this. The pain of dealing with a replacement MOBO / return process doesn't outweigh a simple return on my 4070 FE. Bought a used 3080 and will make do with similar performance on a higher power draw.
I will applaud the fact that ASUS did call me and offer a replacement board, but I'm too busy to manage. Unfortunate.

The same board or another AM4 of theirs?

Same board I believe. Not sure how that would fix the issue....

They are asking to send the board in for repair. Meaning anyone who goes through this route will have to tear down their whole build and buy another board to use their pcs anyways. what a load of doo doo.

Yeah, this is exactly what I was offered. What an inconvenience, what a waste of CO2 considering THE BOARDS AREN'T BROKEN!

Well yes - perhaps an even better point!

I'd be more than happy to be the guinea pig. All I'm asking is for them to send me a working mobo to use while mine is being repaired. If they really have a fix then they should be able to accomodate this.
