After two years thinking i was getting crazy thinking the fault was from the RAM that i replaced three times, the CPU replaced two times, hard disks 4 times, PSU 3 times.... the fault always was from the now out of warranty 500 hundred OG Strix X570-E Gaming.

I would never buy anything from asus ever again

Hello, @BlankBoard

I have updated our PM conversation and kindly check it at your convenience.

Thank you.

Hello, @JakeRed
This discussion thread is focused on issues related to the B550-I and graphics card, which seem not directly related to your mentioned issues.
We recommend creating a separate discussion thread to avoid confusion.
Regarding the issue of your X570-E, may I ask if you have sent it in for repair?
For further assistance, which may involve personal information, I have DM you.
Please check your inbox in the top-right corner at your convenience.

Thank you.

An update on my case: the board has been sent on RMA to the Czech Republic, so for now I'm waiting on follow-up steps.

I also searched months for the issue and thought it was on my side, I even inspected the area under the mounting mechanism for the socket and unfortunately, some plastic part broke off and it would only be mounted securely with a cpu inserted. The board still worked, just not with the 40 series.
When I discovered the imcompability was a manufacturing issue, I decided to ask about a replacement, but unfortunately it was declined because of the damaged socket area (which would have never happened if I hadn't had issues caused by the manufacturer outside of warranty in the first place. So first I thought there was no hope, because I was out of warranty, then I learned that it was extended for 1 year, and now Asus declined the claim because of the socket issue.

This has been a huge headache so far, costing countless hours and money and I will also not buy from Asus anymore after this.

I've created an account here to contribute to this thread.

In my case, my pairing is a B550-I (Part No. 90MB1E10-M0EAY0), which is still within warranty, plus a brand new ASUS TUF GAMING RTX 4070 Ti Super. I share similar observations with some others already stated. My system randomly gets black screens and reboots itself when idle or very light activity (e.g. web browsing) is happening. I've not seen it crash during gaming or stress-testing benchmarks.

I'm based in Australia and have already been in contact with the RMA department. After much frustrating back and forth, they keep insisting its not their problem and that I should contact the reseller I originally bought the motherboard from.

@Jiaszzz_ROG, could I ask for your assistance on how to arrange for an advanced replacement? The support team I was in contact with didn't seem to understand my repeated pleas that I can't be without a motherboard. I use my system for work, and I don't have a spare to swap in.

Have you gone back to your retailer? In my case, Australia here as well, I have gone back to my retailer to get it pushed for RMA or refund under ACL. Once you mentioned ACL, your retailer should be able to expediate the process. Asus AU ended up refund my retailer, and in turn refunded to me in the end.

Also, don't bother with Jiaszz_ROG because he has told me it is up to the regional service center to determine the best solution as he is just a forum moderator.

Good luck!
