B550-I Crashing with 40XX GPUs

I'm getting the issue widely reported here with my RTX 4080 
B550I crashing with NVIDIA 5000 series GPUs - Republic of Gamers Forum - 1082871

The only fix I've been using for a while now is to set maximum performance in the NVIDIA control panel but its really not a suitable long-term fix due to the significant power consumption increase while idle. 

Is it possible to get a replacement still?

I am having the same issue, I had a ASUS Strix GTX 1080Ti and recently upgraded to a 4070Ti Super and I started having so many issues described in these threads. Black screen, hard crashing, BSODs, etc. 

Had I known I would have issued an RMA while it was still under warranty but now that I am no longer under warranty I don’t think I’m going to get much help at all.
