Hello, I just recently installed an ASUS ROG Strix Z690-F motherboard and have audio issues. I have installed the drivers downloaded off of the ASUS site:
Special version for SS3 Virtual Mixer disabled for better stability.
And it prevents 5.1 speak setup from functioning correctly. My games aren't picking it up and in a browser (firefox) with Netflix and YouTube, for example only because those are the two services I tested it on, there is a lengthy pause before the video plays. In the RealTek Audio Control, I selected 5.1 and tested the sound and again, a lengthy pause (~30s) then it plays one sound bite over a speaker, then another lengthy pause, and so on and so on.
I checked the drivers in Windows and everything seems fine.
Is there a solution for this or should I disable it and buy a Soundblaster board?
