I just purchased a 7800x3d and Rog strix B650-A after downloading all the drivers and letting everything install i noticed that my audio randomly gets disorted for a bit then goes back to normal i tired reinstalling drivers, turning off enhance audio and everything else i could think of even reinstalling windows and still having the issue. I use a yamaha mg12xu mixer as a dac and also have 2 cables running from the mixer back into my pc. 1 cable is using the headphone jack in the back as a 2nd output and 1 cable is using the headphone jack in the front as a 3rd and 1 cable is used a mic in (i have do to do it this or any audio i play gets fed into the mic if using the mixer by itself) output.I had this set up working on my old cpu/motherboard was a MSI X470 gaming plus max and a R7 5800. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know thanks

Hello @KND101
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delayed response.
May I ask if you have updated the BIOS on the ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI to the latest version 3024 and cleared CMOS after building your PC?
Based on your description, does the audio distortion occur randomly, only after entering the OS for a while, or does it persist throughout use, and does it stop happening once it occurs, or does it continue to happen randomly?
Have you tried cross-testing with different audio output devices, such as external speakers, or adjusting the audio settings, such as the equalizer, to see if the issue persists?
We recommend removing the DAC and directly connecting your headphones or speakers to the rear panel of the motherboard to check if the problem continues.
Thank you.

Hi @KND101 while you are not using Bluetooth connection for your Audio, you may still get luck with the information in https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/gaming-motherboards/windows-freezes-with-bluetooth-connected-headphone... post i.e. Disable Global C State in BIOS.
Hope this information helps you out. Good luck!
