Hello spent Saturday putting my new build together and couldn't get it to work I tried everything 1 stick of memory in different slots etc, I am getting the solid white vga light on the Q-LED and no signal to the monitor, and yellow for boot Q-LED The processor is KF no intergrated graphics to test that way, my GPU is working as it's in my current PC with the same PSU as below so those work fine, and I am unable to try the 3080 in the lower PCIE slot because the card is so huge it presses down on the pwr switch header area and won't go in the slot *rage*, so I am currently unable to to extra process of elimination testing, it cost well over £1000 I was really looking forward to upgrading after not doing in in a longggg time and it's just been a huge headache..TIA.

Hello electronictonic
With everything assembled:
Shut down your pc, unplug the power supply cable and install 1 stick of memory in the A2 slot (second slot from the cpu).
Press and hold the clear cmos button for 3 seconds, then try booting up.
How does it go?

Tried that same thing whtie light on vga, running out of options.
Buy a usb stick and use Flashbck and hope it works.
Buy a cheapo graphics card small enough to fit into the bottom pcie slot and try that.
Buy different ram and try that
Pay a local PC repair shop to look at it.

You say your RTX 3080 works in your other pc.
Are you using the same monitor cable and monitor?

Yes a Samsung Ultrawide 43" with the same displayport cable in the same port and it works as it should.

Ok,
With one stick of ram in the A2 slot and clearing the cmos, this should have at least got it to post.
Since it didn't, a good suggestion you made was updating the bios with bios flashback.
You will need a usb flash drive formatted to the .FAT32 file system. If you get a usb flash drive and need help updating the bios, I can help you with that.

Thanks I know how to do the process, I have already downloaded the bios files, is it best just to install the latest one only? I am not sure because you need the correct ME version flashed before installing for optimal peformance, my mobo box says manufacturing date 03/2023 so it may have this one on it?

Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (SZ790H.CAP) using BIOSRenamer."

You can use the bios renamer or manually rename the bios file on your usb flash drive.
You can update straight to the latest bios (2801), it will automatically update the ME driver during the update process.
The Intel Management Engine Interface driver is optional, I usually don't install it.
Give us an update after updating the bios, if you have anymore questions, feel free to ask.

Looks like I found the problem..I took the cpu out and it looks like a bent pin on the socket, which means buying another brand new motherboard.
