Asus x870-a gaming wifi motherboard has a network controller with no driver and no wireless option.

I recently bought the asus x870-a gaming wifi motherboard.

At first it didn't work with Lan Blutooth or wifi, after some restarts and fully installing every item and driver, it now has lan and blutooth but the wifi is missing, it shows no wifi options and device manager shows a network controller that has no driver, I cannot find anything to get that driver in there, Armoury crate shows everything installed except norton, I've tried to manually look on windows and nothing, I tried to find some drivers online outside of asus and nothing as well, Does anyone have any idea how to fix this or where I can find this driver?

Hello @Orphenboy

Thank you for reaching out to us.
May I confirm if your current OS version is Windows 11, and has it been correctly updated to the latest build?
If your system is not currently running Windows 11, we recommend updating to and installing this version, as the ROG STRIX X870-A GAMING WIFI exclusively supports Windows 11.

For drivers, please visit the ROG STRIX X870-A GAMING WIFI support page under Driver & Utility > Driver & Tools, select Windows 11, and download and install the MTK WiFi Driver V5.4.0.3044 for Windows 11 64-bit.
Detailed steps can be found in the guide [Windows 11/10] How to Install Drivers Downloaded from the ASUS Site.

For troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues, please refer to [Windows 11/10] Troubleshooting - Wireless Network (Wi-Fi) Issues, specifically the guidance for Windows 11.

Additionally, kindly consult page 50 of the user manual to ensure the Wi-Fi antenna is installed correctly, and clear CMOS if needed.

Thank you.

Hello, I actually have Windows 10 and was not aware it was windows 11 only or required windows 11, I will see if I can upgrade on the weekend.

I reviewed the manual however the armoury program has no ASUS WiFi Q-Antenna, And it is installed properly.

Maybe it is just the OS that is the issue, so I will see if I can upgrade as much of a hassle as that is.
