Hi ,
I have a HP G5 USB C dock . Dock works fine with my HP Elite book 865 . When i connect it to my ASUS Desktop , everything works except for display. It is an ASUS TUFF Board . with a NVIDIA P400 graphics card 4gb . ( 2 monitors daisy chained via DP ) I was able to connect the dock to this pc and update and install the dock firmware etc . ( using a DP ) But it will not detect the 2 displays connected to it , while connected to the dock . All other peripherals like mouse keyboard usb headset and audio work fine .

Hello @samuraijack
Thank you for reaching out to us, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delayed response.
Could you clarify if you are able to display correctly when directly connecting two monitors to the NVIDIA P400 GPU but are unable to get an output signal when using a mini DP (on the GPU) to connect to the USB-C dock's DP port and then daisy-chaining two monitors from there?
May I ask what the current BIOS version is, which PCIe slot is the GPU installed in, and are there any Q-LED indicators lit up when there is no display?
If the GPU is installed in the PCIEX16 (G5) slot, please try setting the PCIEX16_1 slot to [Gen3] in the BIOS before confirming again.
In addition to checking the monitor’s input source settings and ensuring that both the BIOS and display drivers are up to date, please consider cross-testing with other docks, monitors, or GPUs to isolate any potential hardware compatibility issues.
Thank you.
