Hi @UncleAltair

Can you state which memory kit? Can you confirm if it's present on the motherboard's QVL?

If looking for assistance, best to first update to the latest firmware. For more basic insight into memory overclocking please see here

G.SKILL Flare X5 Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 64GB (2x32GB) 6000MT/s CL30-40-40-96 1.40V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM

Just looking to validate which ver of bios i should flash to be most stable with that 7800x3d. Either most recent or and older ver higher than 1409

You'll not likely get an answer to that in a direct sense, you'd need to try for yourself. Depends on a multitude of factors. If you're experiencing instability, you might need to test a few versions.

Did you check to see if the memory kit was present on the QVL as I suggested above?

Hello @UncleAltair
For CPU and RAM compatibility, we recommend referring to the instructions provided in [Motherboard] How to query (CPU/memory) QVL List?
Regarding the CPU, the QVL for the TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI confirms that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is supported starting from BIOS version 1409 and later.

As for memory overclocking settings, we recommend installing memory modules listed in the TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI QVL, as ASUS has verified these models for optimal stability and compatibility.
For guidance on memory overclocking settings, please refer to [Motherboard] How to optimize the Memory performance by setting XMP, EXPO, or DOCP in BIOS? as well as the Memory Kits - Overclocking and What You May Not Know discussion.
We also encourage you to evaluate whether memory overclocking aligns with your specific usage scenarios.

Thank you.
