The PN you've listed is a single 4800MT micron-based DIMM and hasn't been binned by the memory vendor to operate above 4800MT.

Manual tuning requires a reasonable understanding of what the associated voltages and timings do, which is why the QVL and EXPO/XMP standards exist. If you want to run a higher frequency, I would advise you to purchase a memory kit present on the QVL list linked in my previous post.

Hi @DigitalVHS

Once you've established EXPO is stable, you can enable Memory Context Restore in the BIOS. This function retains the last successful memory training parameters at POST. The POST time will depend on the memory configuration.

But when i use ExPO 1 , my boot time is too long, i can't find stable clock.

Hi @DigitalVHS have your tried using EXPO II? Also what is the exact model number of your memory? How many memory sticks are you using?

You're mentioning two different scenarios there.

1. The boot time will be longer when enabling EXPO as the system needs to run different sub-routines to ensure the memory is stable enough to pass POST stress tests. Enabling Context Restore reduces this time by reusing the last "known good" settings after the setting has been applied following a subsequent reboot.

2. If the system fails to complete these tests due to instability, it will try multiple times before reverting to stock [safe mode]. This adds time to the POST completion.

3. Please follow @Jiaszzz_ROG instructions in confirming the memory configuration. The information regarding SPD posted by Achugh isn't relevant as of this time in resolving your problem.

Yes, i try EXPO 2, same , booting time is so long, 1 minute or so....idk what is model number, can't see.....its Kingston ddr 5 32 GB one stick only

Hi @DigitalVHS since you have one 1 stick of memory, did you install it in the A2 slot? It is the 2nd slot moving away from the CPU socket with the slot closest to the CPU being the 1st slot (also called A1)?

If your memory is already loaded into A2 slot, what happens when you DISABLE EXPO and set it to AUTO?

Can you download HWiNFO from https://www.hwinfo.com/files/hwi_810.zip link which is a FREEWARE tool? Extract the ZIP file and run the HWiNFO64.exe file. Then click on the START button for it collect all the data. Once it starts you can CLOSE the SUMMARY window it open and in the main program window, CLICK on the label MEMORY as I have done in my screenshot. Now also EXPAND the Memory node on the left like I have done. You can now press the ALT + PRNT SCRN (Print Screen) key together to copy the image of this program in your clipboard memory. Finally paste (CTRL + V) this picture here as a reply to this message for us to see.

Hello @DigitalVHS

Thank you for reaching out to us.
ASUS has verified the motherboard for the best stability and compatibility when installed with the devices in the Memory QVL list.
Therefore, we recommend you check if the currently installed memory is listed in the ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI QVL and if it's installed in the recommended slot.

Since memory overclocking is influenced by not only the motherboard but also the installed CPU and PSU, during testing, you may try installing a single QVL memory module in the DIMM_A2 slot and enabling EXPO I as the memory parameters optimized by ASUS.
Meanwhile, you might consider manually adjusting the memory overclocking parameters to better suit your build.
For more details, please refer to "Memory Kits - Overclocking and What You May Not Know."

Thank you.

Yes i install one stick first to A1 , then after you tell me i remove to A2.

When i go EXPO 1 or 2 i have 3 options  5200mhz ,5600, and 5800 Mhz,,,,only 5200 mhz works fin and but fast, 5600 boot very slow, and on 5800 i dont boot to windows at all.....i watch on youtube some clips and most  people have option 6200 Mhz 6400 Mhz
