ASUS ROG Z790 HERO All blue USB not work

Good day! This morning I turned on my PC and discovered that none of the blue USB ports on the motherboard were working. All of the USB ports were not working. This is just a nightmare! Only the red ports were working. If anyone has encountered this, please tell me what to do? Is that it, now the only way to change the motherboard?

Hello @RaiBinger

Thank you for reaching out to us.
May I ask if there were any hardware or software changes prior to the occurrence of this issue, such as a Windows update or the connection of new USB devices?
Could you also let us know what kind of USB device you attempted to connect and whether you have performed any cross-testing with other devices?
We recommend referring to the guidance provided in [Windows 11/10] Troubleshooting - USB Functionality Issues to help isolate and resolve the problem.
Additionally, please ensure that there are no port-related limitations set in your system’s power mode and plan settings, as described in [Windows 11/10] Change Power mode and plan.

Thank you.

Full configuration of my PC with peripherals:
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Hero

BIOS: 2801

CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K

RAM: 32Gb DDR5 6800MHz G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB (2 sets)

GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING OC

SSD: 1000 Gb M.2 NVMe Samsung 980 PRO
          2000 Gb M.2 NVMe Samsung 980 PRO

Keyboard: ASUS ROG Strix Scope NX Wireless Deluxe

Mouse: ASUS ROG Spatha X

On March 5, I updated the drivers using the ASUS Driver Hub utility. Everything worked fine. On the 14th of March, after a working day, before going to bed, I turned off my PC and went to bed. In the morning, when I turned on the PC, the keyboard and mouse stopped working. Naturally, the first thing I did was connect both the keyboard and mouse to the red USB ports and the devices immediately started working. Then I took out my spare keyboard and mouse from other manufacturers (which, unlike ASUS devices, always worked without problems) and connected them to the blue USB ports. The old keyboard and mouse did not work in the blue USB ports. Then I disconnected the keyboard and mouse from the second PC, on which they are definitely working right now, and connected them to my motherboard in the blue USB ports - they did not work.

Does anyone have any ideas? Apparently the controller died? Does it mean that the only thing to do now is to change the motherboard? Does anyone know if modern Asus ROG Maximum Z790 Hero have a different component base?
