Hello,
Since I switched from an RTX 3090 to an RTX 5090 Founders Edition, I can't access the BIOS. I can't even see Windows loading.
If I connect an HDMI to the motherboard, I can see the BIOS and I can navigate through it.
I've updated the BIOS and it doesn't change anything.
Once Windows has started, I have a video signal and I can use my machine without any problem.
- 9800x3D
- RTX 5090 Founders
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks

Hello @kvn29
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you kindly confirm your current BIOS version? If you have not yet updated to version 1003 or 1103, we recommend updating to the latest version, clearing CMOS, and then checking the issue again.
Regarding your RTX 5090, which PCIe slot is it installed in? If you first install the RTX 3090 to access the BIOS, manually set the corresponding slot to [Gen 4], and then install the RTX 5090, does the issue persist as described?
If the problem persists, please help to confirm the question below.
- the brand, model and installation slots or ports of the RAM (part number well), SSD/HDD, and PSU
- are there any extensions or adapters used to connect any devices, such as GPU or SSD?
- the OS version, OS build, VBIOS version and graphics driver version
- the circumstances and frequency of the problem
- a comprehensive video recording of the issue, including a clear view of all hardware connections to the motherboard, as well as the system behavior during POST after a CMOS reset and how the system displays correctly under normal conditions.
Thank you.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
By pressing the CLEAR CMOS button I was able to access the BIOS on the next reboot. Everything works fine now.
Thank you for your help.
